Mascot Ménage-à-Trois

And here is the cover to the 3rd comic I was going to be debuting this sunday, but now have to push back to September 11th at the Vancouver Comic Con.

As you can see, it is called Mascot Ménage-à-Trois, and it is a softcore dirty comic of some Mascot-headed folks getting into some kinky shenanigans. Like I say, though. It's not hardcore. I thought the giant unmoving mascot heads were funny. My friend Jackie assures me that it's creepy, disturbing, and strange. Find out for yourself, in September



I should add, that this cover is an homage to the cover of Gold Key's Bullwinkle #17 from September, 1977. I have a very dog-eared copy that I've packed around with me since I was about 10 or 11, and thought it was fitting the way I chose to repurpose it. Click the link to see my inspiration.

Comix & Stories 2011

Space Jet #8

I've finally finished a new issue of Space Jet (almost). So join me at Heritage Hall sunday August 28th so I can sell you a copy. And pray that I finish the last couple pages this week. Fuck me, I've got a lot of work to do in the run-up to this thing.

Anyway, here's the cover.

This is actually the very first of the whole series. I've done a first and last strip to create a loose narrative to the whole thing, and it will all be in one handy li'l booklet for sale on August 28th at the Comix & Stories comic con.

Whoo! Page layout roughs complete!

Well, I didn't think I'd get them done before going on vacation, but it all came together. I'm glad I'll have a couple of weeks away from the comic. Hopefully, be able to see it with new eyes when I get back. Fix any last minute problems before using Photoshop to nail down the final pages. Get all the images sizes uniform, etc, etc... Will have to get my boyfriend to help with that. I don't speak computer very well. Then I'll have three whole weeks to get started on the drawing clean up. Still haven't picked a brush to use.

Anyway, here's a couple of pages, if anyone comes to my blog and wants a look see....Also, this includes the new page...

This is a thing I did last November for the Movember Show, but I never really finished it, and now I can't be arsed to. So here's as far as it got. I post it because I like what it almost was... but looking at it now I realise that it's not very good. Oh well.

I'll be selling this little 10-pager at the Comix & Stories con at Heritage Hall this August 28th!

I don't like putting thumbnails up here, but it'll be the best way to get some story advice before going to layout roughs. So...advice away.
