Been working on and off in sketch form on a graphic novel for a while. I'll finish it one day, but I offer no predictions how long it'll take given that I have to whore out my skills in animation to pay the bills, which eats most of my time. But here's a sketch I liked.

Here's another character from Trainspotting and Porno. Simon "Sick Boy" David Williamson. Mr. Class. Hope you like it.

(It's my interpretation of the character from the book, and while I've obviously in some ways been inspired by the film [how could you not be] it's not meant to be a caricature of anyone.)

in my sons room there's a drawing my buddy tony cliff did for his 1st birthday , the drawing always brings a grin to my face, and this instance was the inspiration for this warm up drawing done this morning.

Renton

Trainspotting is one of my favourite books and films ever, and at the moment I'm a just over a third of the way into the sequel, Porno.
So tonight I felt like drawing one of modern literature's greatest characters: Mark Renton.

I might do a series of little shorts about this guy's increasingly desperate, and sickeningly depressing life. Got a few ideas knocking together in the ol' noggin.
