Hell

And in response to my previous post, this is what many probably believe awaits me at the end of my life. A counterpoint if you will. Theologists' revenge.

I had to draw this twice cause fucking stupid Flash crashed on me and I lost everything. It was better the first time. Flash crashes more than any program I have ever worked with.

Religion v. Science

I've been listening to a lot of Richard Dawkins lately, some of his lectures, Q&A periods and currently the unabridged audio book of his latest "The God Delusion". I've struggled with my lack, and eventually loss, of faith for some time now, and this is merely an illustration of my internal struggle.

Listening to this I was treated to a brilliant quote from the philosopher Bertrand Russell, who said "The burden of proof rests with the believers, not the non-believers."

Space Jet #5 Prototype

This is the working model for #5. I have grand plans to take it further. But here's a taste. Lemme know what you think.

Little Ghost

Thank God, I had another slow work day today and managed to draw this. I hope you like it, lemme know. I may retool it as the cover for Space Jet #5. Not sure yet.

Sleazy Slice

Sleazy Slice is an anthology comic of filth and depravity that my good chum Robin Bougie does annually. I did this just for the hell of it, but if he wants to use it as a pin-up he's welcome to.

God I love the Cintiq.

Back in Montreal...

Ah, its fun being back here again. My flatmates are the best, the weather is sunny and warm. Everyone here smokes, so I don't feel like a complete heel when I smoke on the café patio. I'm going to see DayWatch with some people tomorrow night. Life is good. - This doodle is the first draft of a tattoo for one of my roomies. She's getting the constellation Orion done on her back and has invited all her close friends to design a star.

Violence is Golden

I was lucky enough to have nothing to do at work today for the first time ever, so I decided to take advantage of having a Wacom Cintiq (the monitor you draw directly on, for noobs) and drew this up in Flash. Mucho FUN!

the big sketch dump

howdie,
I'm head'n west for a job in vancouver, and I'm not sure when i'll get access to a scanner there. So here's a bit of work I've done at my time at sheridan. I haven't had much time to do as much as I would like, with moving and my big sissy's wedding. I've been crazy busy.
Anywhoo I wish all the best to everyone where ever they are and thanks for stopping by my blog!

Below are some paintings from life drawing and some drawings I've done at the zoo in toronto or near st. thomas. The horse however was a christmas gift to a good friend, and it was done off of a photograph.
