The Nativity (part 1)

I'm not finished it in time for Christmas, but this is a taste of my upcoming retelling of the Nativity story for Space Jet #6.
I'm not a believer, as such, but I'm not trying to be offensive either. It just struck me that there's some comic gold to be had.
Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Bollywood?

This is a poorly coloured post-it doodle. I hope it looks all right, it was a small drawing and the colour is atrocious. Oh well.

Terra Incognita

Feeling prolific. Here's another one.

Mr. Man Smokes a Smoke

When I was trying to figure out animating in Flash I made this guy in Illustrator, then brought it over. Today I decided to make him a little background and such.

Cherub

I was inspired to do this Cupid guy by some shoddy cut n' paste of a random google image thing, and did this tonight whilst watching the immortal holiday classic "Scrooged" with Bill Murray. It's just not Christmas 'til you hear a Danny Elfman score.

Giddy-Up!

I hope I don't get anyone in trouble at work with this one. And don't think I'm misogynistic or anything. I tried to convey that they're both having fun.
I drew this while listening to "Giddy-Up" from the new Hives album.

More Harry Potter

I can't believe I've started doing Harry Potter fan art... I never would have believed it. Listening to the Stephen Fry audiobooks at work lead me to doodle stuff from time to time. God help me, I love it.

This is from Order of the Phoenix where Snape is teaching Harry oclimensy or something.

Much, the Miller's Son

Here's a pin-up I did for Steve Lecouilliard's comic Much, the Miller's Son. It should be out in December. Check his site for more stuff.

Now that I look at it I see that Maid Marion's head is ridiculously too small. I'm slightly embarrassed. Ah well.

Fantasia LaBoeuf

These here are a couple panels from a comic I'm working on for Robin (Cinema Sewer)Bougie's Sleazy Slice. There's a pretty solid chance it won't be ready in time for the next issue, but you'll be able to see Fantasia LaBoeuf on the cover of issue #2. (click here for an older version of said cover) Anyway lemme know what you think.

Harry Potter

I've been listening to the Harry Potter audiobooks as read by the GENIUS comedian Stephen Fry. They're great. The US versions are atrocious by comparison. Anyway, doodled a couple Potter's and a Voldemort for the hell of it.

Kind of late to the Potter thing, and think some people overdue it, but I still enjoy it so whatever.

Wannabe Harold Gray sketch

I was looking at my friend's copy of Smithsonian Collection of Comics, and this is my attempt at aping Harold "Li'l Orphan Annie" Gray's style.

More Hobo Funnies

Here's another Hobo Funnies. I have a third, one I'll post later. I have to redraw it, for scale purposes.

Hobo Funnies

Here's a li'l hobo humour. It's funny to me because I see this kinda thing every day by work, but maybe it's not funny. I dunno.

More doodly things.

So here's some more work doodles. Not great, I know, but I haven't had time lately.
Anyway, I traditionally suck at caricatures, but I can tell you now I am so proud of the caricatures of the moustachioed folks below. I'll try and post a photo of my reference pictures for them.

Fat Lady in a Short Dress

Another random sketch done at work. It was just the top one, but then I thought, "that's an awfully short dress. If she picked something up she'd show everything." So then I drew that. 'Cause I was bored.

Long-Overdue Sketches

I've been REALLY behind in doing anything on this blog for FAR too long. Oh well, I'll try and be better now. Here's some sketches I did at work.
